SOUTHERN HIGHWAY PROGRAM HORNOPIREN 2 DAYS / 1 NIGHT Day 1 Puerto Montt-Hornopirén near Hornopirén From your hotel in Puerto Montt we begin our journey to Hornopiren. We will take the Southern Road opposite the main square of Puerto Montt, along the bay or enjoy Reloncaví very beautiful and picturesque places as Pelluco, Coihuin, Chamiza, Blue Stone, Metri, Lenca, and Caleta la Arena Chaica place finishes the first section of Highway Asutral, where we board the ferry at the cross in Reloncaví Estuary (30 minutes) to Caleta Puelche. From where I continue to find the remaining 54 kilometers to Hornopiren. The road climbs the mountain from a thick foliage Contao visit the village and fishing Caletas and Pichicolo El Manzano. We return to the lodge, have lunch and then begin the return to Puerto Montt where we will arrive approximately at 18:00. On this tour we will live the adventure, fun and charm of visiting one of the most beautiful places in Chile. Day 1 Puerto Montt and Chaiten Navigation We started this adventure sailing from Puerto Montt to Chaiten in modern Don MV Baldo, 10 hours of quiet navigation to admire Chaiten volcano, islands, islets, many marine animals as a backdrop, the incomparable Andes. Day 2 Chaitén - Pumalin Park-The Board Arrive in the morning to Chaiten, breakfast and beginning a visit to distant Pumalin Park 60 Kms north of the city, visiting the main attractions of the park trails and where they stand: The Hidden Waterfall trail, waterfall and Sendero Tronador Alerces. Box lunch. Afternoon visit the Termas El Amarillo area to enjoy the hot springs, then continue south to the town of La Junta, a small village belonging to the Municipality of Swan River. Dinner and accommodation Day 3 Lake Rosselot - Puyuhuapi-Glacier Queulat Breakfast. Visit the Lake Rosselot, in which we navigate and have the pleasant experience of fishing for trout and / or salmon which then cook in the hotel. (Lunch). In the afternoon we continue south, visiting, the dams of Rosselot, the Bridge of Death, Lake Risopatrón, Hotsprings, factory woven carpets and the National Queulat, where they witnessed the hanging glacier and impressive waterfalls. Dinner and accommodation Day 4. National Park Queulat - Coyhaique Breakfast. Visit to La Cascada del Padre Garcia, then started up the slope Queulat located 500 Mtrs. Height from the top to appreciate the beauty of the glaciers and fjords in a place called Portezuelo Queulat. Thereafter the road is paved to allow to go a little faster towards Coyhaique. In this way include the following attractions; The Cat Rock, Laguna Las Torres, Swan River, Lake Villa Amengual Pedro Aguirre Cerda and Villa Mañihuales. Dinner Lodging Day 5: Coyhaique and its environs - Ferry Puerto Montt Breakfast. Our journey continues south from Coyhaique. First visit Castle Hill Forest Reserve, have lunch in the village of the same name. We will stop at the Cave Paintings Tehuelches (aboriginal inhabitants of the place) and the Museum of mate. Coyhaique and then returned to undertake a course towards the coast, Puerto Aysen. Beautiful attractive as this route will show, the Bridal Veil waterfall, Piedra del Indio, Falls of the Virgin and the Boards. Also visit Puerto Aysen and Puerto Chacabuco. In the latter we take the ferry port and sail 24 Hrs. back to Puerto Montt. We invite you to visit the Southern Highway from the start of the second tranche CHAITEN, returning to calm port in Chile Chico and sailing Lake General Carrera. In the morning we will leave from Cochrane for Chile Chico (lunch), lunch. In the afternoon we sail to Puerto Lago General Carrera Ibanez (2 hours). Then we will continue to Coyhaique.
